Darrel T. King was born in Miami Gardens and raised in South Florida. As a teenager he had the privilege of meeting Judge Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr., and discovered that he wanted to become a lawyer.

Mr. King has been practicing law in Broward County for more than 10 years. His primary area of focus is workers’ compensation. He currently represents the City of Lauderhill’s Code Enforcement Board. He also has trial experience handling collections and personal injury protection cases.

Mr. King earned his undergraduate degree from Florida International University in political science, and earned his law degree from the University of Florida. He is a member of the Broward County Bar Association and The Florida Bar.
